TB-500

Systemic healing peptide — whole-body tissue repair, injury recovery, and flexibility.

TB-500 is a synthetic version of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring peptide found in virtually every cell of the human body. Thymosin Beta-4 plays a critical role in tissue repair, stem cell mobilization, and inflammatory regulation. Unlike BPC-157 which is primarily site-specific, TB-500 acts systemically — mobilizing stem cells and growth factors throughout the body to promote global healing and repair. It is particularly effective for musculoskeletal injuries, hair regrowth, and cardiovascular tissue repair.

Mechanism: TB-500 promotes cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation by upregulating actin polymerization. It activates the PI3K/Akt pathway to suppress apoptosis and enhance cell survival in damaged tissue. TB-500 also modulates inflammatory cytokines, reducing TNF-α and IL-6 while supporting tissue remodeling. Dosing protocol: Loading phase — 2.5–5 mg administered subcutaneously 2x/week for 4–6 weeks. Maintenance phase — 2.5 mg/week. Cycle length: 4–12 weeks total; maintenance protocols can extend further with periodic breaks. TB-500 and BPC-157 are frequently combined for synergistic repair — BPC-157 for site-specific healing, TB-500 for systemic recovery support. Contraindications: Active malignancy (TB-500 promotes angiogenesis and cell proliferation). Pregnancy and breastfeeding. Prior cancer history requires individual consultation.

Key Benefits

01Systemic healing response — mobilizes stem cells and repair factors throughout the body
02Highly effective for chronic musculoskeletal injuries (tendons, joints, muscle tears)
03Promotes hair regrowth by activating follicular stem cells
04Reduces systemic inflammation and speeds recovery from illness or overtraining
05Cardiovascular repair — supports healing of cardiac and vascular tissue
06Improves flexibility and reduces post-exercise soreness

What to expect

01

Evaluation

Injury timeline, severity, and prior treatments assessed. Systemic healing goals identified.

02

Loading Protocol

TB-500 2.5–5 mg 2x/week compounded from licensed pharmacy. Loading phase initiated.

03

Self-Administration

Subcutaneous injection demonstrated. Can be co-administered with BPC-157 in the same syringe.

04

Transition to Maintenance

After 4–6 weeks loading, weekly maintenance dose sustains healing momentum.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

What makes TB-500 different from BPC-157?

BPC-157 is primarily site-specific — inject near the injury for local repair. TB-500 is systemic — it mobilizes stem cells and healing factors throughout the body. They are highly complementary and often used together.

Can TB-500 regrow hair?

Yes — TB-500 activates hair follicle stem cells. It is particularly effective for diffuse thinning when combined with GHK-Cu topical application and PRP.

What is the loading vs. maintenance protocol?

Loading phase: 2.5–5 mg 2x/week for 4–6 weeks to achieve therapeutic tissue levels. Maintenance: 2.5 mg/week thereafter to sustain healing benefits.

How long until I notice results?

Most patients notice improvements in pain, range of motion, and recovery within 2–4 weeks of starting the loading protocol.
